I had an interesting lesson today where a gender debate was conducted...

The question put forward was:

"Men are more rational while women are more emotional" Do you agree or disagree with the statement?

That was the gist of the question...cannot remember the actual question...

Anyway, I think some people might think that I would disagree with this statement as I am quite a rational person and I am kind of a feminist so I basically think that women are DEFINITELY of a comparable status or even better than men...

However, when faced with this question, and being a rational person, I naturally chose to agree with the statement. I guess the girls who disagree with this statement are probably those career woman type of person so they believe that women can be more rational than men...and true enough, the group which disagreed with the statement cited egs of women like Hilary Clinton...Well, but as shown on TV, she always appeared to be very emotional when she gave her speeches...Is it then a sign of rationality?

Therefore, for me to choose to agree with this statement goes to show my rationality and thinking...Coz it is TRUE that women are more emotional..we are by nature like that and there are no denial for that...it is true that women are becoming more rational these days..but that may be coz they are allowed to do so as the society is more open now...but well, the lecturer did say tat both gender are emotional, it is just that their emotional expressions are different...Well, I guess that is how God make us to be...

P/S: I thought you would have the same stand as me...i guess we are really different...UPSET
